
Aftimos Law opened in April 2023. Ms. Aftimos brings her experience as a former judicial law clerk, law school professor, and law firm practitioner to her private practice.

Representing Companies
Aftimos Law performs litigation, transactional, and fractional general counsel work for businesses. Representative matters in 2023 include drafting policies and addressing compliance issues for a media startup and investigating civil RICO claims for a luxury residential company.
Representing People
Aftimos Law represents individuals in both litigation and transactional matters. In 2023, those matters included litigation of tort claims on behalf of a probate estate and representation of prospective buyers in a commercial real estate transaction.
Working With Law Firms
Aftimos Law co-counsels with, and ghostwrites for, law firms. Aftimos Law also advises law firms and engages with firm clients as contract counsel. Representative matters in 2023 include (i) advising a firm on bankruptcy matters affecting the firm's bank and logistics clients, (ii) ghostwriting litigation briefs, bankruptcy pleadings, and notices of default, and (iii) researching securities laws, analyzing claims related to such laws, and drafting memoranda summarizing research and analysis.
Pro Bono Practice
Aftimos Law welcomes opportunities to serve its community. Representative matters in 2023 include land use advocacy on behalf of a local farmer and providing bankruptcy counsel to several individuals.
